Azira is looking for a seasoned and visionary SVP – Global Marketing Officer to join our leadership team and spearhead our global marketing efforts. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in defining our brand, driving growth, and positioning our ad-tech solutions as leaders in the competitive digital advertising industry.
A Day in the Life
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead brand positioning, differentiation, and awareness initiatives to enhance market presence across key regions.
- Oversee all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content strategy, product marketing, events, public relations, and media relations.
- Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales support through multi-channel marketing campaigns, including organic, paid advertising, and event management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and C-suite executives to define marketing goals, priorities, and budgets, and align them with overall business objectives and vision.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Manage and optimize marketing budget allocation to maximize ROI and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality marketing materials and presentations.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry partners, media outlets, and key stakeholders to enhance brand positioning and drive business growth.
- Author thought leadership materials to aid brand recall among the target audience.
- Attract, hire, mentor, and retain top talent while leading and fostering a high-performing, results-driven global marketing team.
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Over 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles.
- Background in Product Marketing a plus.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies, particularly in the ad-tech or related technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including programmatic advertising and emerging ad technologies.
- Advanced experience with marketing tools, such as enterprise CMS (preferably HubSpot), SEO, and Account-Based Marketing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
- Experience in managing global marketing teams, cross-border initiatives, and working in global organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to create, drive, and execute marketing strategies resulting in substantial growth.
- Experience in SaaS, helping startups articulate value propositions and build brand awareness.
- Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
