We are looking for an HR professional with a minimum of 4 years of experience to serve as an HR Generalist. The successful candidate will have direct involvement in all aspects of People Operations, provide strategic guidance to management, and drive HR initiatives to support organizational objectives. This role requires the ability to work autonomously, collaborate with the global People Team, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and to manage complex HR projects.
A Day in the Life:
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues.
- Work with leaders to design high performing teams and well defined roles and responsibilities.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, foster professional growth, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop customized learning solutions.
- Support the evolution of the company’s approach to performance management, inclusion, wellness, and other layers of the employee experience.
- Work closely with leadership to identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans for key roles.
- Develop and administer new approaches to compensation.
- Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale.
- Incorporate cross-cultural perspectives into HR initiatives, policies, and decision-making processes to create an inclusive workplace culture.
- Collaborate across the People team and functions across Azira to balance stakeholder needs and achieve desired business outcomes.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist or Business Partner functions.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to thrive partnering with a remote-first team.
